Batik Discovery Events at inVISIBLE Exhibition
Held in conjunction with Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, batik textiles on display during inVISIBLE: Exploring and Redefining Femininity Through Batik will be used to explore contemporary femininity, redefining femininity into qualities that resonate with the wider community who subscribe to the broad spectrum of womanhood.
To enhance the visit experience, visitors can enjoy programmes happening on the weekends. Ratih and Tjiplies will be in attendance until Sunday 18 March. Batik enthusiasts and collectors will have the opportunity to interact with the artists through artists’ tours, art conversations over coffee and artist-led workshops over the first weekend.
