inVISIBLE:  Exploring and Redefining Femininity Through Batik is an exhibition which attempts to explore contemporary femininity through a unique medium, batik. Other than showcasing commissioned works by contemporary textile artists Ratih Artika Dewanti and Tjiplies Pudji Lestari, this exhibition is a collaborative efforts by the following partners:

Started in August 2016, Together-Gether wishes to engage both Singaporean and Japanese audiences. Their approaches are always inclusive and relevant by using the art of storytelling to ensure that the stories to be told are heard across all audiences.

With a commitment to make art and culture accessible across all audiences, Together-Gether works closely with artists and arts institutions to engage audiences through impactful programmes such as meaningful art conversations, guided tours, and hands-on art workshops.

Mai Textile Studio

Mai Textile Studio is a creative design studio based in Singapore. The studio is founded by Leong Minyi, a Fashion Design graduate from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. She studied the art of traditional textile and crafts under an indigo dye master. Works by the studio are made by natural materials coupled with traditional techniques such as shibori and katazome in its design and creation.

That Spare Room by The Fabulous Baker Boy is more than just an extra space; it’s where art meets tart! It offers a flexible community spot for the purpose of collective creative expression. From a gallery, craft workshop, screening room, to a design studio, experimental kitchen or wedding receptions.

Juwanda Hassim is the owner and head cook of The Fabulous Baker Boy. As a huge fan of the arts, he is excited to collaborate and share That Spare Room with the greater community.
