INKAA: Resist & Dye

Curated by INKAA (KY), this exhibition was a second presentation of INKAA’sSummer/ Monsoon 2025 collection, following its initial launch at the Zhingshan Building in KL. It also marked the 7th anniversary of INKAA and first time venturing outside of Malaysia. This presentation brought together existing and new pieces, reflecting ongoing research, experimentation, and thinking about the nature and meaning of crafts in the world today. Resist & Dye was a meeting of medium and message, form and content – where materials, process, and language are shaped through the exploration of traditional craft and everyday narratives. This exhibition also brought together works by Jerome Kugan, Popok Tri Wahyudi, Umriyah and Zhang Fu Ming, co-curated by Wei Qin.
