Tambal: A Participatory Exhibition by Adel Ng

Adel Ng, a fashion designer and founder of Muta Wear explored patchwork as an act of care and love. Inspired by the patchwork blanket from her grandmothers, Adel investigated cultural memories of domesticity, care and dealing with loss and grief. In this participatory exhibition, juxtaposed with aNERDgallery’s Batik Tambal collection, visitors were invited to collectively patch on the artwork as they reflected on their personal healing journey.
